Mayor declares war on vendors
WESTERN BUREAU: IN WHAT appears to be a declaration of war against rampant streetside selling, the Mayor of Montego Bay, Hugh Solomon, says vendors will be "eradicated" from the city's sidewalks.

WESTERN BUREAU: A NUMBER of residents in Western Jamaica have been hauled before the courts by the National Water Commission (NWC) to answer charges of trespassing upon the works of the agency, and unlawful usage of water.
