Sunday Gleaner remains on top

MORE THAN650,000 persons read every Sunday Gleaner. This represents one in every four man, woman and child in Jamaica.

The recently concluded independent market research study, conducted on all media by Rowena Coe's Marketing Strategy Ltd., shows that The Sunday Gleaner has almost three readers for every one reader of the Sunday Observer.

The fieldwork was conducted in late April, when over 2,000 persons were interviewed.

"The Sunday Gleaner with its vast readership clearly remains the number one publication in Jamaica - the popular paper of choice," said Norman Marshall, newly-appointed Gleaner circulation manager. "During the next months we will be trying even harder to continue to improve availability so that readership will continue to expand."
