JLP MP Mike Henry (Central Clarendon) said yesterday that he had no problem working with newly-appointed Leader of Opposition Business in the House of Representatives, Derrick Smith.
But, Mr. Henry felt that he was slighted in the appointment.
"In terms of seniority and experience, I should have been the person selected and if you're being conciliatory, you would have at least offered me the post and let me accept or decline," Mr. Henry said.
Mr. Henry, who has just completed a one-year suspension from holding party office, was optimistic, however, that he and Mr. Smith, his former deputy leader colleague, could work together amicably in the House.
