ENTERTAINMENT DIARY SHOWS & DANCES

Peppers described as the "Classic Little Oasis" an association with Guinness invites you to Caribbean Seafood Flava Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Music will be by Alric and Boyd.

Auditions for the July semi-final Tastee Talent shows takes place at Tastee Outdoor Theatre Cross Roads, This Saturday starting at 10 p.m. Those selected for the July contest will be asked to attend rehearsals which will be announced in the Press.

Club Classique, Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth continues with its Teens Jam this Saturday night, July 1, 2000. Peaces Sound System as well as G.T. Aggregation will play.

Singer Junior Kelly performs at Ascot, Old Harbour, this Saturday July 1, 2000. The show will also feature a number of local acts.

A tribute to late reggae singer Dennis Brown takes place at the Country Side club, Half Way Tree this Saturday, July 1, 2000. A number of artistes will perform. These include Beres Hammond, Yami Bolo, The Mighty Diamonds, John Holt, Junior Kelly and Big Youth. Backing band will be Lloyd Parkes and We The People Band.

The JCDC road shows continues at Ken Wright Pier, Portland this Saturday July 1 and at the Jamaica Grande Ballroom, Ocho Rios on July 2, 2000.

The JCDC presents its' annual 1 2 3 Big Money Bingo this Fiday, June 30, 2000 at the Ranny Williams' Centre at 7pm. There will be ten games of bingo plus an additional two bonanza games. The Main Prize is £1,000, US$3,000 and Canadian 2,000. Patrons with pre-sold tickets stand a chance of winning US$200.
