Seba, Reno eye final
WESTERN BUREAU - A DRAW will be good enough for Seba United and Reno to get them into Sunday's finals of the Rotary Club of Montego Bay East Western
Football Classic when they meet in the featured game of the second round at Jarrett Park this evening.
Both teams were winners in Sunday's first round at Frome, Seba edging Galaxy 2-1 while Reno thrashed Wadadah 4-1 in the other game and are on three points each.
Wadadah and Galaxy meet in the first game which starts at 5:00 p.m.
Either team will hope for a big win in the first game and a win for either sidein the second game to secure a place in the final and a shot at the $100,000 first prize.
All four teams will meet each other for the first time since the previous pre-season as Seba United and Wadadah contested the National Premier League while Galaxy and Reno were finalists in the National A League.
In the feature game, a new-look Seba team that will include Granville player and National Under-23 invitee Jermaine Anderson should have the upper hand over a Reno side fielding mostly reserve and Under-20 players.
Galaxy are still to score a win at Jarrett Park and might break the jinx against a Wadadah team that should be missing most of their top players.
Markeino Gillings and Mark Williams are away on national duty with the Under-23 team while Devon Ricketts, who scored on Sunday, is just getting back into form following an ankle injury.
